Iron Roulette™ · SPIN. TRAIN.™
Privacy Policy
Effective September 27, 2026
Iron Roulette™ is a spin-to-train fitness game at ironroulette.com. You spin a wheel for a muscle group, the game rolls a level and an exercise, and a coaching card walks you through the move. Iron Roulette is operated by East Coast CAD LLC (“East Coast CAD,” “we,” “us”), a Maryland limited liability company that also builds the TekUltra family of products. This policy explains what information Iron Roulette uses, where it is kept, and the choices you have.
The short version
- You do not need an account. Iron Roulette does not ask for your name, email address, or other contact details.
- Your workout history, Day game progress, and settings are stored in your own browser. We do not receive them.
- Page views are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. Google Analytics 4 loads only when it is configured, and then Google may set its own cookies, as described in section 6.
- We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information stored on your device
Iron Roulette saves the following in your browser’s local storage, so it is still there the next time you open ironroulette.com on the same device and browser:
- Workout completions. For each move you mark complete: the exercise name and ID, the body part, the level (Easy, Normal, Hard, or Beast), the equipment it used, and the date and time. Days you close out on your Day Stack are saved the same way.
- Day game progress. For the current calendar day: your Day focus progress, the muscle groups you have burned, and the exercises you respun so they stay off the wheel. This resets when a new day starts.
- Preferences. Your gear toggles, level lock, training style, Day focus, sound setting, and whether the coach reads cards aloud automatically.
This information stays on your device. Iron Roulette has no account system and no server that receives it, and it is not synced between devices or browsers. The storage entries are named with the prefix “ironRoulette.”
2. Speak (text-to-speech)
When you tap Speak, or turn on Auto speak, Iron Roulette passes the card’s short script (the level, the exercise name, and the “Do this now” line) to your browser’s built-in speech engine through the Web Speech API. We do not receive the text or the audio.
Many voices run entirely on your device. Some browsers also offer online voices from the browser’s maker, such as the Google voices in Chrome or the online voices in Microsoft Edge. When one of those voices is used, your browser may send the spoken text to that company to produce the audio, under that company’s privacy policy. If you prefer not to use speech, leave Speak and Auto speak off.
3. Information sent when you load the site
Like every website, ironroulette.com receives standard technical information when your browser requests its pages and files: your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages and files requested, the referring page, and the date and time. Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., processes this information to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems, and keeps request logs for a limited period under its own policies. We do not use these logs to build profiles of visitors.
Parts of the app load from ironroulette.com and from public content delivery networks, which receive the same kind of technical request information:
- Exercise demonstration images are served from ironroulette.com’s own assets, and from the public CDNs in this list when a catalog still is used.
- Google (www.gstatic.com and fonts.gstatic.com) serves the app’s graphics engine and fallback fonts.
- jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) serves some exercise still images from the open RepDB dataset.
4. Cookies and local storage
Iron Roulette uses your browser’s local storage for the features described in section 1. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. If Google Analytics 4 is enabled, Google may set cookies such as _ga to tell browsers apart, as described in section 6. If we show ads in the future, advertising partners may set their own cookies or use similar technologies, as described in section 5.
5. Advertising
Iron Roulette may show ads, including between sessions, through Google AdSense on the web, Google AdMob in apps, or similar ad networks. As of the effective date above, ironroulette.com does not show ads.
When ads are shown, the ad partner may collect device and advertising identifiers, your IP address, and information about the ads you see and interact with. Ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, limit, and measure ads, including personalized ads where the law allows. Google explains how it uses this information in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and describes its advertising at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can manage personalized Google ads at My Ad Center. We will update this policy if the partners or choices described here change.
6. Analytics
ironroulette.com counts each page load with Vercel Web Analytics, including visits from people who never sign in. That collector records the page path, a coarse location, the device type, and the referrer. It does not use cookies. The same page also sends product events such as a spin, the muscle and level that landed, and opening Stack Your Day. Those events do not include your email or username. Page views are read in the Vercel project’s Analytics tab.
Google Analytics 4 is off until a measurement ID is configured for this site. When it is on, the browser loads Google’s tag. Google may set cookies and receive the page URL, a client identifier, and technical details such as browser and device. Workout logs and account data are not sent as analytics events. Google describes this collection in its privacy policy. A browser or extension that blocks third-party scripts will stop that request.
7. How we use information
We use information to run Iron Roulette on your device, deliver and secure the website, understand which pages are loaded, fix problems, respond when you contact us, and, if ads are enabled, show ads through the partners described above.
8. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- with service providers that host and deliver the site, such as Vercel and the content delivery networks listed in section 3, so they can run it for us and, for Vercel, count page views as described in section 6;
- with Google, only when Google Analytics 4 is enabled, as described in section 6;
- with advertising partners as described in section 5, if ads are enabled;
- when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or East Coast CAD; and
- as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.
When you use Share on your Day Stack, the image is created on your device and goes only where you choose through your device’s share sheet, or it is saved to your device as a download.
9. Your choices and rights
- See your data. Your completions and your Day Stack are shown in the app.
- Delete your data. Clear the site data for ironroulette.com in your browser settings. This removes your completions, Day game progress, and preferences from that browser.
- Ask us. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have us correct or delete it (for example, an email you sent us), write to info@eastcoastcad.com. We will respond within the time the law requires.
Residents of California and of other states with consumer privacy laws, such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Maryland, have rights to know about, access, correct, and delete their personal information, and to opt out of its sale, of its sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising today. If that changes with personalized ads, we will provide the opt-outs the law requires, including honoring Global Privacy Control signals where required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
10. Children
Iron Roulette is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Data retention
Information stored in your browser stays there until you clear it. Day game progress resets each calendar day, and your completion history stays until you clear your site data. Vercel keeps hosting request logs for a limited period. We keep emails you send us for as long as we need them to respond and to maintain business records. If we add accounts in the future, we will describe how long account data is kept, and how to delete it, before accounts launch.
12. Security
ironroulette.com is served only over HTTPS, and your workout data stays on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the site and any information we handle.
13. International users
Iron Roulette is operated from the United States. If you use it from outside the United States, the technical information described in section 3 is processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. Your continued use of Iron Roulette after an update means you accept the updated policy.
